Prophetic kids are extremely intuitive! Get them engaged in what will challenge and provoke them to critically think. Promote activities that empower teamwork and collaboration. The goal is to stretch their perspective outside their own world and help them appreciate another's point of view because prophets are opinionated by nature and tend to be lone rangers! Teach them objectivity and help them learn how to put their personal biases in check. This goes for every child really, and not solely prophetic ones, but seek out hobbies that are well-rounded and support their emotional growth and maturity. Prophetic kids have intense emotions and convictions and it's good for them to learn to balance wisdom against how they feel and partner with the Lord in filtering their sentiments with His point of view.

Help them Focus!
Put them in active, thoughtful projects that cause them to ask smart questions and form their own unique answers. Sports and the arts are great for the young prophetic mind as they are generally dreamers, energetic and passionate! Discipline and commitment are a few of the big advantages to sports and participating in the arts hones creativity,

A Few Take-Aways:
1. Note the types of activities they gravitate towards without any prodding or provoking. What are they naturally interested in?
2. Challenge them to try new things. Don't allow complacency. Work on broadening their horizons.
3. Don't let them quit! If they start something, challenge them to see it all the way through to the end of that specified season or year, even if they have lost interest.
